WHAT TYPE OF CHURCH IS COD?
The City Of David Newcastle, NSW is a home for anyone who wants to know about God and HIS Kingdom and find their purpose in life. City Of David is a place where praise pulls down strongholds.
WHEN AND WHERE ARE THE SERVICES?
The City Of David holds weekly Sunday services at 10:00 am and 12:30 pm respectively. On the first Sunday of each month, we hold a joint Thanksgiving service at 10 am. All services take place in our main auditorium at 1/27 Crescent Road, Waratah, and are streamed live to our social media channels. We also hold a Holy Communion service tagged “Mercy Hour” on the first Wednesday of each month.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
The City Of David Newcastle invites our guests to come to our services dressed decently and comfortably.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?
At City of David, we are intentional about creating an environment where everyone feels safe and welcome. When you arrive you can expect to be welcomed by one of our volunteer hosts who will guide you through safety check-in protocols and then help get you seated comfortably. To facilitate the check-in process, please let us know you’re coming in advance by filling out a plan to visit form online. If you have children coming, please let us know via our children’s weekly Service RSVP form, and then follow the check-in protocols at our children’s check-in station.
WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
At City Of David, we do our best to help your children have a blast while learning about Jesus. We have created a fun and safe environment for each child by implementing a children’s check-in and check-out system. If you’re visiting for the first time you can facilitate your check-in process by pre-registering your child/ children.
HOW CAN I GET CONNECTED?
Jesus House, DC is all about connecting with God and each other. There are several ways to get connected (both in-person and onine). Here are just a few: Attend a Service, Attend a Lighthouse, Join a Soul Care Group, Attend Alpha, Serve in a Ministry, and much more. If you haven’t already, take the first step and simply join us for a service.
IS THERE PARKING SPACE?
There are several spots to park around City Of David, however, they get filled up pretty quickly. If you’re visiting for the first time our traffic volunteers will assist in getting you a place to park, just let them know you’re a first-time guest. There is also a nearby parking garage where you can park.
CAN I GET A RIDE TO CHURCH?
If you need a ride to Church, simply click below to fill out a Call-A-Ride request form. Please give us at least a 5 day notice so our team can prepare for your pick-up. If you require a recurring pick-up, please indicate so on the form.
