In a world that is becoming more entertainment and media driven, the church must find new and fresh ways of delivering the Gospel. Our Drama Ministry is focused on spreading the gospel of Christ through short plays, dance dramas, skits and mime. We encourage, support and pray for our volunteers, leaders and ministry. We minister through imagery and music to communicate the message of hope and salvation, for when God speaks, we act!
We have witnessed thousands upon thousands of men, women, and children changed in a moment with lasting transformation that spans a lifetime.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. About the ministry
The Drama Ministry is one of the creative hubs of RCCG City of David. We tell stories- yours, ours, theirs. We paint life’s parables on a canvas of stage, lights and action. Everything points to Christ and His redeeming grace. Whether its dance, drama, poetry or mime we retell the stories of Christ in ordinary lives.
responsibilities and duties
- Create, produce, perform, and communicate biblical truth and inspire biblical living
- Provide opportunities for church members to use their talents for the gospel of Jesus Christ
- Inspire an alternative to secular artistic and musical cultural choices
- Inspire further probing into God’s word beyond the dramatic performance
