Our aim for children is no different from that of adults. We desire to be as serious about imparting a passion for God in the lives of the younger generation as we are for the adults. This aspiration is reflected in our teachings, programs and activities for our young children.
Children like adults are seriously flawed and in need of a savior (Genesis. 8:21 & Psalm51:5).
We believe children can grow in grace with adequate nurturing and guidance use both their physical and spiritual gifts for the glory of God and the edification of the church (2 Peter3:18 & 1 Corinthians14:12)
RCCG City of David is a place where all children are welcomed with a full sense of belonging, children are fed with the truths of the Bible that enable them believe on the one true God thereby allowing them the opportunity to become and reach the full potentials of all God has planned for their life ( Jeremiah 29 :11)
We partner with parents, family members and the church body in instilling these deep-seated desires to:
- know and love Christ
- Serve and live for Christ
- Lead others to Christ (Evangelize)
It is our hope that as Church and parent, 3 John 1:4 will be true of our children, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”
All our programs and activities are age appropriate, and our children church are grouped thus:
- Jasper class ( Ages birth to 3 years)
- Topaz (Ages 4 to 6 years)
- Sapphire (Ages 7 to 10 years)
- Emeralds (Ages 11 – 15 years)
Come join us have fun while we learn about Jesus in a warm, cozy settings with loving, friendly, and understanding adults.
