SPIRITUAL EDUCATION MINISTRY

Spiritual Education Ministry of RCCG City of David is saddled with the responsibility of nurturing members of the church with the word of God, from the cradle to the point of maturity in Christ. This is currently being accomplished through organisation of Sunday School, Believers Class, Baptismal Class, School of Discipleship, Workers-in-Training programme, Bible College and Weekly Wednesday Digging Deep.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost

ABOUT THE MINISTRY

Justina Edeifo – Head, Spiritual Education Ministry

Sunday school is organised between 10am and 10:30am on Sundays. The School of Discipleship (SOD) is for all people from all backgrounds and denominations to gain life skills on how to be true disciples of Jesus Christ, how to use the word of God for daily living and how to study to show oneself approved unto God. The goals of the SOD are of three categories, which are Ultimate goal (to make disciple of all nation), Intermediate goal (to make all Australians member of SOD), Immediate goal (to make you become a well-trained disciple of Jesus Christ).

Commitment to the Almighty God is the highest priority for the Christian and it cannot be taken lightly because of its eternal implications. There is need for extra spiritual effort on the souls saved to get them established, localised in the church fellowship, and mobilised until they too become soul winners. It is not enough for believers in Christ to go forth and bear fruits in obedience to the Lord’s command but must also ensure that the fruit abide. Therefore, the Workers-in-Training programme is packaged to equip believers for service unto God and the edification of the body of Christ.

The believers class is organised for the participation of every growth-thirsty Christian to create a solid foundation resilient enough to withstand challenges and life issues. The baptismal class is designed to prepare the prospective participants for deep water baptism, and to bring to their knowledge the importance and implications. To register for Baptisimal Class, fill the Baptisimal Class Registration Form.

Digging deep is organised weekly on Wednesdays (7pm – 8:30pm AEST) to helps participants to develop what it takes to face life boisterous storm. Revival of the Church of Christ is expected to start from the spiritual education, this is the task given to us as a ministry, it is dangerous for the fire of the church to burn low.
